What was done
Claude Code moved Wil Reynolds' whole HubSpot blog over to WordPress. It worked on its own for 6 hours while he was in a meeting, and emailed him when it was done. It worked out by itself that forms and tracking had to move too. Only an accessibility icon sets the staging site apart from the old one. Before he left, he spent over an hour on permissions and setup, and he used a WordPress business account to get full MCP access.
How to do it
- Paste the prompt into the tool, and replace the text in brackets with your own.
- Read the answer through. Do not send, delete or publish anything until you have seen it yourself.
- Check the original before you trust a figure, a name or a date.
Try it with Claude Code
Move every post from [old platform] to a staging site on [new platform], with images, forms and tracking, and you are done when I have a list of what moved and what I need to check. Ask before you publish, delete or change anything on the old site.
