One tenant message became two jobs
The author had an agent read tenant messages, split them by trade and send the jobs. It handles about two hundred messages a month and saves the operations manager close to fifteen hours a week. For a shop with a fixed reorder at 200 units he did not use an agent.

What was done
On 27 June 2026 the author writes that he builds automations and agents for companies. For a property company earlier this year the agent reads messages such as my sink is leaking and the hallway light has been out for a week. That is two problems in one message. The agent finds who handles plumbing and who handles electrical, checks who is responsible in the lease and sends both jobs with the right priority. It handles about two hundred messages a month and saves the operations manager close to fifteen hours a week. A man with a supplements shop came in March. Seven people and fourteen products. He wanted an agent that watched inventory and emailed suppliers on its own. Protein powder is reordered when it hits 200 units, and it has been that way since 2023. He was quoted 5,200 dollars for the AI build, and 700 dollars for the solution without AI. Every morning a flow checks Shopify against the reorder points and sends a pre-written email to the right supplier. It costs 60 dollars a month. No AI. The operations person got forty minutes back every morning within the first week.
How it went
The property company uses the agent on messy messages. The supplements shop got a morning flow without AI, at 60 dollars a month, after 200 units was already the rule.
Worth knowing
The companies and the suppliers are not named. About two hundred messages and close to fifteen hours are his estimates. The agent product is not named. Check the original. This is not advice about leases or inventory.
How to do it
- Read the message and split it into one job per problem.
- Look up the trade and the responsibility in the contract you attached.
- Show both drafts. Do not send them until you have said yes.
