What was done

emmagine79 had Hermes plan the setup of a Razer Tartarus V2 Pro for video editing in DaVinci Resolve. New keyboard, old keyboard and macro pad are now one setup. Hermes did the planning, and the setup itself was built with Gemini 4 Argon in Antigravity. The post does not show which shortcuts went on the keys or how long it took, and she asks others what they would map to it.

How to do it

  1. Paste the prompt into the tool, and replace the text in brackets with your own.
  2. Read the answer through. Do not send, delete or publish anything until you have seen it yourself.
  3. Check the original before you trust a figure, a name or a date.

Try it with Hermes

Make a plan for [macro pad or keyboard] for [program]. List the [number] commands I use most, suggest one key for each and show it as a table. Check that none of the keys clash with shortcuts that already exist in the program. Do not change settings and do not install anything before I have approved the plan. You are done when I have the table and can set up the keys myself.

  • Add a new feature from a screenshot with an arrow

A developer showed his wife a list app he has built and asked whether she would change anything. She wanted a way to create a new list from the items that were not ticked off. He wrote the request to the agent in Cursor and attached a screenshot with an arrow showing where the button should go. Minutes later the change was in, and seconds later it was live. He writes that there is still more to do.

  • Build your own markdown viewer that opens instantly

A developer on Hacker News asked Claude Code to build a markdown viewer for macOS, from the same codebase as the JSON viewer he already had. He asked for it to open fast. He now says it opens and displays a file faster than any other app he uses on macOS. He offers it as an example that you can build small personal programs yourself, but he shows no measurements of the speed.

  • Give the coding agent a design spec before it builds

Founder Wilbert Liu built his personal site with Codex CLI. He copied the long design prompt from the Anthropic frontend design plugin into a local markdown file, and asked Codex to read it as the design spec before writing any code. The result was nearly right on the first try, and a few rounds fixed the rest. He can reuse the file in other projects, but he still has to supply the taste and direction himself.
