What was done
On 10 October 2026 Mark Riggins (@Ojenta) writes that over a couple of days the CPA bot worked through the finances like a full-time bookkeeper. It found a missed 1099. It compared the 2024 return with what the IRS has on file, and caught interest from a Morgan Stanley savings account. The sentence stops at the point that the interest never made it onto the next words.
How it went
The bot found the missed 1099 and the interest. The post does not say an amended return was filed.
Worth knowing
The post is cut off before it says where the interest was missing. The amount is not there. Check the original. This is not tax advice.
How to do it
- Ask the agent to compare [tax return] with what [authority] has on file for [year].
- Ask it to list forms and interest that the authority has, but that are not in the return you filed.
- Do not file an amendment. Take the list to the person who actually files the return.
Try it with Valgfri agent
Compare [tax return] for [year] with what [authority] has on file. List forms and interest that are missing on my side. Do not file anything. Do not amend the return until I say yes.
Replace text in brackets with your own.
Done when. You have a list of gaps, and no amended return has been filed.
Safety rule. The agent does not file a tax return and does not change what was already filed, until you say yes.
