A market note on Telegram twice a week

He writes that he is 19 and a student. Claude Code pulls prices, macro and news and sends a Telegram note twice a week. One note caught insider selling, calculated EUR/USD and told him to do nothing in a fear market. He logs trades himself.

Done with Claude CodeModerate

This is a public report, not advice from Skatteetaten, NAV, Altinn or an accountant. Check figures, deadlines and decisions against the original.

What was done

On 6 April 2026 he writes in r/ClaudeAI that he is 19 and a student. He wanted Claude Code as an adviser on wealth, not advice of the buy NVIDIA kind. The system pulls prices via yfinance, macro from FRED and the ECB, and news from Brave Search. It goes into Claude Code with a CFA-style system prompt. A note goes to Telegram twice a week. The memory is meant to stop repetition and to track whether the advice worked. He can chat, send a ticker for a closer look, or log trades. He writes that one note caught patterns of insider selling, calculated his EUR/USD exposure, and told him not to buy in a market of extreme fear. It runs on Claude Max, with no API cost. The code is at github.com/Kingler16/claudefolio.

How it went

The notes are what he describes. He does not name a ticker, whether the insider selling was right, or whether he bought or did nothing. He logs trades himself.

Worth knowing

That the advice worked is a feature he describes, not a result with figures. No ticker is named. Check the original. This is not investment advice. The model should not send an order.

How to do it

  1. Ask for a note from the sources you actually have, with what it must not recommend.
  2. Read the claim about insider selling and currency against the source before you do anything.
  3. Log trades yourself. Do not buy or sell before you have said yes.

Try it with Claude Code

Write a note on [ticker] from [sources]. Do not repeat the previous note. Do not buy, do not sell and do not send an order until I say yes.

Replace text in brackets with your own.

Done when. The note has been read, and no order has been sent.

Safety rule. The agent does not buy, does not sell and does not send an order until you say yes.
