What was done

ThunderX is taking the train from Prague to Budapest on 23 December with two adults and two kids. Grok Bot first booked seats with ÖBB for 393.60 euros on a fare with free cancellation. Then it checked ÖBB, MÁV, ČD and RegioJet every morning at 9. When ČD opened sales on 31 October, it found the same departure for 2,279 Czech koruna, about 94 euros, but he booked and cancels himself.

I am travelling by [train or plane] from [place] to [place] on [date] with [number of travellers]. Find a ticket that can be cancelled for free, and show it to me before you book. Then check [companies] every morning at [time] for a cheaper ticket on the same departure. Do not book or cancel anything yourself. Show me the price, terms and link when you find one. You are done when I have switched or the departure has left.

  • Build an app that splits group travel costs

A friend came home from Bali and complained about how hard it was to split costs on a group trip. That made a developer build and launch an app for it in 15 days with Codex and a free web hosting service. User accounts came later. Hosting costs nothing, and the domain cost 10.46 dollars. The post shows the app, but does not say how many people use it or how much the developer did by hand.

  • Make a flexible travel plan with fixed points and options

The author used Claude as a logistics tool for a three week trip to Japan. He collected everything he wanted to do himself, put it in a dedicated project with a master document and a decision log, and split the plan into fixed points and flexible pools. Claude checked sunrise times, train times and opening hours, and grouped shops geographically. He warns against giving it full control, because its own suggestions were superficial and touristy.
