Use an agent as help desk for Mac and iPhone
A man with no IT department uses Claude Cowork as a help desk. With control of his Mac and his phone mirrored on screen, it cleared 125GB off a full drive and fixed six security settings on his iPhone, including a missing update. The phone audit took twenty minutes, and the changes were made one at a time after his yes. It left passcodes and recovery keys alone, and Face ID has to be set on the phone itself.

How to do it
- Paste the prompt into the tool, and replace the text in brackets with your own.
- Read the answer through. Do not send, delete or publish anything until you have seen it yourself.
- Check the original before you trust a figure, a name or a date.
Try it with Claude Cowork
Go through my Mac and make a ranked list of what takes the most space, slows it down or is a security risk. Explain each item in plain words. Show me the list before anything is changed, then make one change at a time after I have said yes. Do not touch passwords, passcodes or recovery keys. You are done when I have gone through the whole list and know what has been changed.
