Have your email read aloud and reply by voice

A 14 year old at his first hackathon built an n8n flow in 48 hours that read every incoming email to him as a voice message. He replied with a voice message in Telegram, which was transcribed and then saved as a draft or sent right away. The flow also put appointments into his calendar. He won 1st place, but it is a hackathon project and not something we know has been in daily use.

What was done

A 14 year old at his first hackathon built an n8n flow in 48 hours that read every incoming email to him as a voice message. He replied with a voice message in Telegram, which was transcribed and then saved as a draft or sent right away. The flow also put appointments into his calendar. He won 1st place, but it is a hackathon project and not something we know has been in daily use.

How to do it

  1. Paste the prompt into the tool, and replace the text in brackets with your own.
  2. Read the answer through. Do not send, delete or publish anything until you have seen it yourself.
  3. Check the original before you trust a figure, a name or a date.

Try it with n8n

Set up an n8n flow that reads new emails to me as short voice messages in Telegram. When I reply with a voice message, it should be transcribed and saved as a draft in my email. Appointments in emails should be suggested for my calendar. Nothing is sent until I have confirmed it. Show me the first drafts before anything is sent. You are done when I have answered an email by voice and seen the draft.

  • Build conference slides that follow your organisation's branding

Olivia was to run an AI workshop at a conference in September. In Claude Cowork Olivia dropped in a recent presentation to keep the organisation's branding, and dictated the brief. Claude tightened the structure and made the slides, which can be edited freely. A week before the conference the file had to be delivered as PPTX in a different aspect ratio, and Cowork converted it. A lot was changed and the speaker notes were heavily edited, but it saved time.

  • Build a web portal for your sound effects with ChatGPT

Shared on r/ChatGPT: a user making an audio-led drama series alone had about 700 sound effects and could not find the right file. The user asked ChatGPT to build a new folder structure in Dropbox, rename the files and make a local web page for searching and playing the effects. It took about 15 minutes with a couple of design rounds, but the saving of hundreds of hours is the user's own estimate and only holds if the series continues.

  • Collect unfinished tasks from your agent sessions in Todoist

An OpenClaw user no longer adds tasks by hand. Three times a day the agent goes through recent sessions, pulls out pending tasks, decisions and blockers and adds them to Todoist. Projects show which stage an item is in, labels show who owns it, and comments in Todoist are read and answered at the next sweep. Private sessions are kept out. The user does not yet know whether the setup will last.
