What was done

Dhawal Shah has used Hermes as his daily chief of staff for 6 months. 5 days after he switched its model to Codex, the agent tidied its skill library and archived 57 of 82 skills without asking. Two scheduled jobs, including the morning briefing, lost access to his email and calendar. A daily git backup let him restore everything, but now the agent has to ask first.

How to do it

  1. Paste the prompt into the tool, and replace the text in brackets with your own.
  2. Read the answer through. Do not send, delete or publish anything until you have seen it yourself.
  3. Check the original before you trust a figure, a name or a date.

Try it with Hermes

Go through your skills, scheduled jobs and memory in [agent]. List every skill with when it was last used and which jobs need it. Suggest what could be archived or merged, with a reason. Back everything up to [git or folder] first. Do not archive, delete or change anything. Show me the suggestions before anything changes. You are done when every skill has a suggestion and I have answered.

  • Build conference slides that follow your organisation's branding

Olivia was to run an AI workshop at a conference in September. In Claude Cowork Olivia dropped in a recent presentation to keep the organisation's branding, and dictated the brief. Claude tightened the structure and made the slides, which can be edited freely. A week before the conference the file had to be delivered as PPTX in a different aspect ratio, and Cowork converted it. A lot was changed and the speaker notes were heavily edited, but it saved time.

  • Build a web portal for your sound effects with ChatGPT

Shared on r/ChatGPT: a user making an audio-led drama series alone had about 700 sound effects and could not find the right file. The user asked ChatGPT to build a new folder structure in Dropbox, rename the files and make a local web page for searching and playing the effects. It took about 15 minutes with a couple of design rounds, but the saving of hundreds of hours is the user's own estimate and only holds if the series continues.

  • Collect unfinished tasks from your agent sessions in Todoist

An OpenClaw user no longer adds tasks by hand. Three times a day the agent goes through recent sessions, pulls out pending tasks, decisions and blockers and adds them to Todoist. Projects show which stage an item is in, labels show who owns it, and comments in Todoist are read and answered at the next sweep. Private sessions are kept out. The user does not yet know whether the setup will last.
