Follow up with event vendors automatically every morning

An automation builder made an n8n flow for event managers who are tired of chasing vendors by hand. Every morning the flow follows up with vendors, flags overdue milestones in Slack and posts a readiness score for the event. That way the team sees in one place what is missing, without anyone writing reminders themselves. The post shows the flow in a video, but does not say how long it has been in use.

What was done

An automation builder made an n8n flow for event managers who are tired of chasing vendors by hand. Every morning the flow follows up with vendors, flags overdue milestones in Slack and posts a readiness score for the event. That way the team sees in one place what is missing, without anyone writing reminders themselves. The post shows the flow in a video, but does not say how long it has been in use.

How to do it

  1. Paste the prompt into the tool, and replace the text in brackets with your own.
  2. Read the answer through. Do not send, delete or publish anything until you have seen it yourself.
  3. Check the original before you trust a figure, a name or a date.

Try it with n8n

Build an n8n flow that goes through our event vendor list with deadlines and status every morning. Write a short, polite follow-up draft for each vendor with a deadline that is close or has passed. Post overdue milestones in our team channel and give a simple score for how ready we are. Do not send anything to vendors until I have approved the drafts. You are done when the first morning report is approved.

  • Build conference slides that follow your organisation's branding

Olivia was to run an AI workshop at a conference in September. In Claude Cowork Olivia dropped in a recent presentation to keep the organisation's branding, and dictated the brief. Claude tightened the structure and made the slides, which can be edited freely. A week before the conference the file had to be delivered as PPTX in a different aspect ratio, and Cowork converted it. A lot was changed and the speaker notes were heavily edited, but it saved time.

  • Build a web portal for your sound effects with ChatGPT

Shared on r/ChatGPT: a user making an audio-led drama series alone had about 700 sound effects and could not find the right file. The user asked ChatGPT to build a new folder structure in Dropbox, rename the files and make a local web page for searching and playing the effects. It took about 15 minutes with a couple of design rounds, but the saving of hundreds of hours is the user's own estimate and only holds if the series continues.

  • Collect unfinished tasks from your agent sessions in Todoist

An OpenClaw user no longer adds tasks by hand. Three times a day the agent goes through recent sessions, pulls out pending tasks, decisions and blockers and adds them to Todoist. Projects show which stage an item is in, labels show who owns it, and comments in Todoist are read and answered at the next sweep. Private sessions are kept out. The user does not yet know whether the setup will last.
