Fill in insurance forms from a folder of hospital records

Felix Rieseberg, who helped launch Cowork, welcomed a daughter the same week. He gave Claude access to a folder of hospital records as PDFs, pointed it at his insurer's website and let it do the paperwork while he fed his daughter. He recommends it especially when the language is dense with legal and medical terms. He works on the product himself, and the post does not show what was actually submitted.

What was done

Felix Rieseberg, who helped launch Cowork, welcomed a daughter the same week. He gave Claude access to a folder of hospital records as PDFs, pointed it at his insurer's website and let it do the paperwork while he fed his daughter. He recommends it especially when the language is dense with legal and medical terms. He works on the product himself, and the post does not show what was actually submitted.

How to do it

  1. Paste the prompt into the tool, and replace the text in brackets with your own.
  2. Read the answer through. Do not send, delete or publish anything until you have seen it yourself.
  3. Check the original before you trust a figure, a name or a date.

Try it with Claude Cowork

Read the PDFs in [folder] and find the details [insurer] asks for in [form]: dates, treatments, amounts and reference numbers. Make an overview with the source file and page for each field. Open [website] and fill in the form, but save it only as a draft. Show me the overview and any fields you are unsure of before you fill it in. Do not submit anything. You are done when the draft is saved and every field has a source.

Replace text in brackets with your own.

  • Watch the cinema for two free seats together

A user wanted to see The Odyssey in 70mm IMAX at Cinemark, but every showing was sold out until mid September. The cinema added new showings here and there, and checking them one by one on the website was a chore. He asked his Hermes agent to keep watching for openings in the seat range he wanted, and it found two adjacent seats. The post does not say how often the agent checked, or who bought the tickets.

  • Add to-dos from Telegram with an n8n flow

On Hacker News a user asked how he could add things to his to do list at home through Telegram without setting up OpenClaw. Another user replied that he does exactly that with n8n. A Telegram bot receives the message, a language model interprets it, and the task lands in Todoist. He thinks a platform such as n8n or windmill.dev gives more control than OpenClaw, but he does not show the flow itself.

  • Build a local home safety system with panic buttons

A Hermes user lives with his 89 year old grandfather and travels a lot. He told the agent he worried about his grandfather being home alone. Hermes installed Home Assistant on a Mac Mini, added a Zigbee radio over USB and built a local system with a tablet, voice feedback and panic buttons by the stairs and in the bedroom. The agent wrote the code and a dashboard, but the post does not say how the system was tested.
