Generate help videos for your app from code
A developer who built a library of help videos with Replit Agent shared the prompt after others asked. The videos are not recorded by hand. The app gets a demo mode with fake data, each video is defined as scenes with a route, a script and cursor movements, Playwright records, text to speech narrates and ffmpeg adds captions. The output is MP4, a transcript and a searchable help page, but the post does not show the videos or the cost.

How to do it
- Paste the prompt into the tool, and replace the text in brackets with your own.
- Read the answer through. Do not send, delete or publish anything until you have seen it yourself.
- Check the original before you trust a figure, a name or a date.
Try it with Replit
Build a searchable help page in [app] with tutorial videos generated by code. Add a demo mode with fake data that never writes to the database. Define each video as scenes with a route, a script and cursor movements. Record with [recording tool], then add narration and captions. Show me the script and scenes for the first video before you make the rest. You are done when every video has an MP4, a transcript and shows up in search.
Replace text in brackets with your own.
