Teach Copilot Cowork your own rules for the calendar
Liam Bennett has used Copilot Cowork since it arrived in Microsoft's early access programme. The built in meeting feature did not go far enough, so he created his own skill with his rules for which meetings can be moved, shortened or cancelled. Tasks from meeting recordings land in Planner, and the agent blocks focus time for them in the calendar. He warns that you must state clearly what the agent may cancel without asking first.

How to do it
- Paste the prompt into the tool, and replace the text in brackets with your own.
- Read the answer through. Do not send, delete or publish anything until you have seen it yourself.
- Check the original before you trust a figure, a name or a date.
Try it with Copilot
Create a calendar skill that follows these rules: [which meetings can be moved], [which can be shortened] and [which must never be touched]. You may never cancel anything without asking me. Find the tasks from [meetings this week] and block focus time for each of them. Show me the changes as a list before you make them. You are done when every task has a time block and no rule has been broken.
Replace text in brackets with your own.
