What was done

4 out of 5 staff in the child welfare service in Ullensaker municipality find great value in an AI note assistant in Flyt Barnevern, and most save 2 to 6 hours a week on documentation. Since 16 June it has transcribed and summarised conversations, so no extra employee has to sit in as note taker. The full transcript is attached, so nuances can be checked, but the summaries still have to be edited and read by professionals.

How to do it

  1. Paste the prompt into the tool, and replace the text in brackets with your own.
  2. Read the answer through. Do not send, delete or publish anything until you have seen it yourself.
  3. Check the original before you trust a figure, a name or a date.

Try it with Copilot

Make minutes from the recording of [meeting] in Teams. Use only what was actually said, and put a time stamp from the recording next to every decision and task. Leave out national ID numbers, health information and names of [customers, users or pupils]. Show me the minutes with the time stamps before they are shared with anyone. You are done when I can check every point against the transcript.

  • Use Claude Code for the analysis in a research paper

The researcher Kevin Yang was looking for a data analysis agent and found that Claude Code was exactly what he needed. He used it for the analysis in a paper he is working on, and estimates that it wrote over 98 percent of the code. He uses Lazygit to keep track of changes, Cursor to read through the code and Jupyter for the analyses. He shows how he works, but not the paper itself or the results.

  • Create original teaching material for a beginner Japanese class

A teacher was running a beginner Japanese class and could not copy pages from the textbook because of copyright. Grok Bot was asked to create new material with the same facts, grammar and vocabulary: worksheets, a Halloween bonus sheet, alphabet practice sheets, a quiz and a presentation. The agent asked about style first and packed everything into a single zip file. Two native Japanese speakers reviewed it all and found no errors.

  • Build a browser extension your work computer is missing

A user started a new job on a Windows machine and missed the tools from the Mac. The fix was a first Chrome extension built on Replit, a colour picker that does exactly what the user wants, adapted to the Windows version on the work computer. It is simple, and the user offers to share the files. The post does not show the build. Check with your IT department before installing your own extensions on a work computer.

  • Teach Copilot Cowork your own rules for the calendar

Liam Bennett has used Copilot Cowork since it arrived in Microsoft's early access programme. The built in meeting feature did not go far enough, so he created his own skill with his rules for which meetings can be moved, shortened or cancelled. Tasks from meeting recordings land in Planner, and the agent blocks focus time for them in the calendar. He warns that you must state clearly what the agent may cancel without asking first.
