Make a 3D phone model without knowing Blender

A developer needed a 3D model of an iPhone 18 Pro in the glb file format. The developer had not used 3ds Max in 20 years and had never touched Blender. With Codex driving Blender without a window, the model was still done in just a few hours. The developer calls it a really interesting experience and only a first version. The post does not show how much was fixed or how detailed it is.

What was done

A developer needed a 3D model of an iPhone 18 Pro in the glb file format. The developer had not used 3ds Max in 20 years and had never touched Blender. With Codex driving Blender without a window, the model was still done in just a few hours. The developer calls it a really interesting experience and only a first version. The post does not show how much was fixed or how detailed it is.

How to do it

  1. Paste the prompt into the tool, and replace the text in brackets with your own.
  2. Read the answer through. Do not send, delete or publish anything until you have seen it yourself.
  3. Check the original before you trust a figure, a name or a date.

Try it with Codex

I need a 3D model of [object] as a [glb or other] file. Here are photos and measurements: [attachments]. Use Blender without a window, and build the model in parts so I can ask for changes to each one. Render an image from three angles after each step so I can check. If a measurement is missing, ask instead of guessing. You are done when the file opens correctly in [program] and I have approved the images.

Replace text in brackets with your own.

  • Build conference slides that follow your organisation's branding

Olivia was to run an AI workshop at a conference in September. In Claude Cowork Olivia dropped in a recent presentation to keep the organisation's branding, and dictated the brief. Claude tightened the structure and made the slides, which can be edited freely. A week before the conference the file had to be delivered as PPTX in a different aspect ratio, and Cowork converted it. A lot was changed and the speaker notes were heavily edited, but it saved time.

  • Build a web portal for your sound effects with ChatGPT

Shared on r/ChatGPT: a user making an audio-led drama series alone had about 700 sound effects and could not find the right file. The user asked ChatGPT to build a new folder structure in Dropbox, rename the files and make a local web page for searching and playing the effects. It took about 15 minutes with a couple of design rounds, but the saving of hundreds of hours is the user's own estimate and only holds if the series continues.

  • Collect unfinished tasks from your agent sessions in Todoist

An OpenClaw user no longer adds tasks by hand. Three times a day the agent goes through recent sessions, pulls out pending tasks, decisions and blockers and adds them to Todoist. Projects show which stage an item is in, labels show who owns it, and comments in Todoist are read and answered at the next sweep. Private sessions are kept out. The user does not yet know whether the setup will last.
