Read your book's status at every store before reapplying
An author selling his book on an ebook platform runs a Claude Code agent every evening. A reminder told him to request distribution to bookstores, but the agent read the screens first without pressing anything. Of 8 bookstores, 2 were already selling the book, 1 showed sent and 5 were pending, and the request had been made 42 days earlier. Asking again could have sent the book back to approval, but he still does not know when sales started.

How to do it
- Paste the prompt into the tool, and replace the text in brackets with your own.
- Read the answer through. Do not send, delete or publish anything until you have seen it yourself.
- Check the original before you trust a figure, a name or a date.
Try it with Claude Code
Open the sales overview for my book on [platform] and read the status for each bookstore. Only read, and do not press any button that changes anything. Make a table with bookstore, status and the date you first saw it on sale, and compare it with my notes in [file]. Show me the table before anything is sent or changed. You are done when I know which bookstores are missing and no request has been sent twice.
