Let your agent remind you before you forget things
A tester in OpenAI's early developer programme for Dots keeps one main conversation with the agent, while it coordinates other threads in the background. What the tester likes most is that the agent takes the initiative: it reminds them to send the quarterly documents to the accountant, says when a meeting has been postponed and nudges them to follow up a refund. The post came out on launch day and does not show how the reminders are set up.

How to do it
- Paste the prompt into the tool, and replace the text in brackets with your own.
- Read the answer through. Do not send, delete or publish anything until you have seen it yourself.
- Check the original before you trust a figure, a name or a date.
Try it with Dot
Keep an eye on [email, calendar and task list] and tell me on [channel] when something needs action. Examples are deadlines such as [quarterly documents for the accountant], meetings that move and matters I am waiting on, such as [a refund]. Do not act on your own. Show me a list of what you will watch before you start. You are done when I have received the first reminder and it is correct.
