Run an SEO audit of your site in a browser

Developer Alexander Opalic used Claude Code with Puppeteer MCP to audit the SEO of his blog starter NuxtPapier. The agent made its own to do list, visited the pages and checked meta tags, structure, mobile layout and load time. It found that the site had noindex and nofollow set, and that robots.txt blocked every search engine. The report was saved as markdown with code examples and file names, but several issues came from development settings.

How to do it

  1. Paste the prompt into the tool, and replace the text in brackets with your own.
  2. Read the answer through. Do not send, delete or publish anything until you have seen it yourself.
  3. Check the original before you trust a figure, a name or a date.

Try it with Claude Code

Go through [website] with [browser tool] the way a search engine sees it. Check meta tags, robots.txt, sitemap, headings, structured data, mobile layout and load time on [number] pages. Sort the findings by severity. Show me your to do list before you start. Do not change any code. You are done when the report is in [file] with each finding, the file that needs changing and a suggested fix for every point.
