Test a survey with simulated answers before sending it out
Andrew Maynard asked Manus to build a Google Forms survey on how students view artificial general intelligence, and then to simulate answers from 1000 made up students. Manus analysed the data and wrote a report, and he published the files openly on GitHub. Every answer was fake, so the test says something about the questions and the analysis, not about what real students think. He describes it as a first impression of the agent.

How to do it
- Paste the prompt into the tool, and replace the text in brackets with your own.
- Read the answer through. Do not send, delete or publish anything until you have seen it yourself.
- Check the original before you trust a figure, a name or a date.
Try it with Manus
Draft a survey in [form tool] about [topic] for [audience]. Then simulate [number] made up answers that reflect different kinds of respondents, and label clearly that everything is test data. Analyse the answers. Show me which questions are unclear or produce identical answers. Do not send anything out. You are done when I have a list of questions to change before the real survey goes out.
