Let Hermes restock your weekly groceries from your receipts
A user on Hacker News runs Hermes locally and buys all groceries online. A separate program pulls email receipts into a database. Based on how often and when an item was last bought, Hermes works out what needs restocking. Every week it logs in to the store, books a delivery slot and adds the items to the cart. If something runs out, a photo of the barcode is enough, but the user had to build the receipt program first.

Read the receipts from the online grocery store in my email and make a list of the items I buy, with how often and when each was last bought. Based on that, suggest what should go into next week's shop. Show me the shopping list and the delivery slot before anything is added to the cart or ordered. You are done when I have approved the list, the items are in the cart and the delivery is booked.
