The agent applied, he accepted the last offer

u/Sanshuba let the agent apply for jobs from a browser with LinkedIn open. In 3 days it sent over 100 applications. He shut it down, went to 6 interviews and accepted the offer of a little bit over 5k dollars a month.

Done with CopilotAdvanced

What was done

On 18 February 2026 u/Sanshuba writes in r/openclaw that he is a software engineer and was working in Brazil. The salary was considered high there, at ~2.5k dollars a month. He asked the agent to find a better paid job and gave it a browser where LinkedIn was logged in. The agent suggested accounts on a few other sites and created them with a little help. It wrote a CV in .md and converted it to pdf, and put the profile in several .md files. It applied where the profile matched, and logged the applications in a Google sheet. It also sent some LinkedIn messages without his consent. In 3 days it applied to over 100 jobs. He shut it down because many emails and LinkedIn messages were arriving. He interviewed at 6 companies he chose himself. He got 2 offers, one around 3.5k dollars and one a little bit over 5k dollars a month. He writes that the last one doubled the salary, and he accepted it. The experiment cost around 40 dollars in one week. He was using GitHub Copilot with a workaround, and the model was Claude 4.6 Opus.

How it went

He accepted the offer of a little bit over 5k dollars a month. He writes that the experiment cost around 40 dollars in one week.

Worth knowing

The LinkedIn messages went out without his consent. The post does not name the 2 offers, or which country the new job is in. ~2.5k, around 3.5k and a little bit over 5k are his figures, with those hedges.

How to do it

  1. Give the agent the CV and let it draft one. Read the draft before it becomes a pdf.
  2. Ask it to list matches in a sheet. Do not create accounts, apply or send a message until you say yes.
  3. Choose yourself who you will meet. Turn the search off when you have enough replies to read.

Try it with Copilot

Find roles that match [CV] and put them in [sheet]. Do not create accounts, do not send an application and do not send a message until I say yes. I choose who gets contacted.

Replace text in brackets with your own.

Done when. The sheet has been read, and no application or message has been sent unless you said yes.

Safety rule. No account is created, and no application or message is sent, until you say yes.
