Build your own video picks from years of forum talk
Andrej Karpathy was tired of YouTube's recommendations. One weekend he had Claude Code go through 43 million comments from 20 years of Hacker News and find the 6,454 videos that keep getting recommended there. It took about 2 hours. He only did three things himself in the browser: created a key to fetch video data, started a server and bought the domain. The agent did the rest, including securing and deploying the site.

How to do it
- Paste the prompt into the tool, and replace the text in brackets with your own.
- Read the answer through. Do not send, delete or publish anything until you have seen it yourself.
- Check the original before you trust a figure, a name or a date.

I want better recommendations than [service] gives me. Collect comments from [forum or source] over several years, and find the videos, books or articles that many people keep recommending over time. Rank them by how often and for how long they are mentioned. Tell me if you need a key or access that I have to set up myself. Build a simple page where I can browse the list. You are done when I have seen the top 50.
