Turn your own notes into meeting minutes

Paste your notes into Copilot and get minutes with decisions and follow-up. What is not in the notes should not appear as a decision.

How to do it

  1. 1

Collect the notes straight after the meeting. Use initials if the names should not leave the organisation.

  2. 2

Open Copilot in Word, or another tool your employer has said you may use on work text.

  3. 3

Ask for topics, decisions, open questions and follow-up. Owner and deadline should appear only where the notes say so.

  4. 4

Ask it to mark sentences it cannot read out of the notes, instead of smoothing over gaps.

  5. 5

Read the minutes against the notes, correct names and dates, and send them to the people who were there. Do not pass them on before that is agreed.

Example prompt

Example prompt

Write meeting minutes from the notes below. Structure: purpose, decisions, open questions, and follow-up with an owner and a deadline only where the notes say so. Do not invent decisions. If a sentence is unclear, quote it and ask what was decided.
