Sort your game library into genres with a local agent

A reviewer at The Verge ran Hermes Agent with a local Qwen model on a Mac Studio. He has over 400 games on Steam and asked the agent to sort them. Using a Steam API key, it grouped the games by genre in a few minutes and kept his own categories, like favorites and games with his wife. He revoked the key right after, but the morning brief he built has already broken several times.

How to do it

  1. Paste the prompt into the tool, and replace the text in brackets with your own.
  2. Read the answer through. Do not send, delete or publish anything until you have seen it yourself.
  3. Check the original before you trust a figure, a name or a date.

Try it with Hermes

Look through my game library and suggest a way to group it into categories, for example by genre. Leave the categories I made myself untouched. Show me the proposal and which games go where before you move anything. Use the access I give you only for this job, and tell me when I can revoke it. You are done when every game sits in a category and I have approved the grouping.
