Set up a simple reminder in n8n
Build a small n8n flow that emails you when someone submits a form, so an enquiry does not sit there. The customer list should not go into a prompt.

You set up a tool and check the result yourself.
This is a way of working from the editors, not advice from Skatteetaten, NAV, Altinn or an accountant. Check figures, deadlines and decisions against the original.
How to do it
- 1
Make a form with the fields name, email and message. Decide where submissions should land, for example a spreadsheet you already use.
- 2
In n8n: start with a trigger for a new row. Add a step that emails you, with the name and message in the body.
- 3
Ask an assistant to describe the flow with the names of the steps and which fields should be mapped. Ask it not to invent API keys or internal URLs.
- 4
Test with a submission that uses your own email address. Check that the message arrives, and that the customer's email does not go to the wrong place.
- 5
Turn the flow on only when the test is green. Write down where the data is stored, so you can answer if someone asks for access.
Example prompt
Example prompt
I use n8n. I want a new row in a spreadsheet (columns name, email, message, timestamp) to send an email to me. Describe the flow step by step: which trigger, which fields are mapped into the email, and how I test with one row. Do not invent keys, webhook URLs or a sender name. Point out what I have to fill in myself in n8n.
